Saved Filter Views in the Form Log

📘 Saved Filter Views in the Master Form Log Overview

If you frequently use the same set of filters to analyze your form data, Ontraccr allows you to save custom filter views in the Master Form Log. These saved views can be applied with a single click, saving time and ensuring consistency in your reporting or review workflows.

🎯 Use Case Examples

  • Quickly access forms submitted by your service team during the last 30 days
  • Reuse a view showing all purchase orders from the purchase board
  • Access forms related to a specific client or project without resetting filters each time

🛠 How to Create a Saved Filter View

Step 1: Open Filter Panel

  • Navigate to DocumentsFormsLog
  • Click the Filter Icon (top-right)

Step 2: Choose Filter Criteria

Apply one or more filter fields. You can choose from:

  • Date Range (custom, this week, this quarter, etc.)
  • Users
  • Form templates
  • Form numbers
  • Customers/Clients
  • Projects
  • Boards
  • Statuses

Step 3: Click “Create and Apply”

  • Instead of just clicking Apply, click Create and Apply
  • A popup will appear asking you to name the filter view
    • e.g., "Service Forms - Last 30 Days"
  • Click Save
  • Your filter is now applied AND saved for future use

📂 Accessing Saved Filter Views

Next time you open the Filter panel:

  • Your saved view will appear on the left side of the panel
  • Click the view name to instantly apply that saved configuration

Notes and Tips

  • You can save multiple views for different teams, form types, or customers
  • Saved views persist across sessions, so you don't need to rebuild them later
  • All filter fields are optional—you can save minimal or complex views as needed
  • There’s no mention in the transcript of editing or deleting saved views, so that functionality is not documented here
