📘 Accessing the Boards Feature in Ontraccr
Overview
The Boards feature in Ontraccr allows you to visually manage workflows across departments like estimating, procurement, project tracking, CRM, HR, and more. Before using any of its powerful tools, you'll need to know how to access it and move between boards.
🔍 How to Access the Boards Feature
- Log in to your Ontraccr account.
Make sure you're logged into the web application. - Use the left-hand menu.
Locate and click on the “Boards” menu item on the left-hand side of your screen. - Enter the Boards interface.
Clicking "Boards" will take you into the Boards feature, where you can view all available boards you have access to.
🧭 Navigating Between Boards
Once you’re in the Boards interface:
- Click on the board title (which is a clickable text field).
This reveals a dropdown list of all boards you have access to. - Select any board from the dropdown list to open it.
- Each board represents a different workflow or process (e.g., estimating, recruiting, purchase orders, etc.).
📝 Notes & Tips
- You can manage processes within each board by interacting with cards inside status columns (explained in other articles).
- Boards are only visible to users who have been granted access via the Permissions tab (more on that later).
- The interface is designed to be intuitive, with additional functionality accessible via buttons at the top (filtering, searching, sorting, etc.).
