🧩 Using Project Types in Your Workflow
When Creating a New Project
- In the Project Info step, select the appropriate Type from the dropdown.
- If you don't select one, the project will default to None.
When Filtering Projects
- Use the Filter button on the Projects page.
- Filter by any Type you've created to narrow down your list.
🧠 Tips & Edge Cases
Start simple: Use broad categories like "Service" and "Construction" at first.
Icons help visually distinguish types — don't skip picking one!
Different tabs per type:
You can customize which tabs appear for each Project Type (explained separately under Tab Customization).
If a type is missing from your filter options, double-check if it was properly saved!
✅ Example Scenario
Your company handles small maintenance jobs and large commercial builds.
You create two types:
- "Service Jobs"
- "Commercial Projects"
When filtering, you instantly find the right project group without clutter.
