🧭 Introduction
The Forms feature in the Ontraccr mobile app gives workers easy access to submit safety forms, timesheets, checklists, and more — all in the field. Users can quickly view assigned forms, submit manual forms, or reuse previous submissions using the copy function.
This guide explains how the Forms and Form Submissions widgets work and how to use them efficiently.
🔍 Two Places to Access Forms in the Action Center on Mobile
1. Forms Widget
- Found in the Action Center
- Shows forms you’re allowed to submit
- Behavior varies depending on web settings (see below)
2. Form Submissions Widget
- Also in the Action Center
- Shows your personal history of submitted forms
- Does not display company-wide forms
You can alternatively go to More > Forms, in order to access a complete list of options.
⚙️ Understanding “View Manual Forms” Setting
Admins can control how the Forms widget behaves per role using this checkbox in the web app:
Web App → Settings → Customization → Action Center → View Manual Forms
Behavior Based on Setting:

📥 Submitting a Manual Form
- Open the Forms section
- Tap any form in the list (manual, assigned, or favorite)
- Fill out the fields
- Tap Submit
📌 These forms are identical to the web version and respect all permissions and validation rules.
🌟 How to Favorite a Form (Quick Access)
Favorited forms appear under the Favorite tab (if “View Manual Forms” is turned off).
To Favorite a Form:
- Open a form you frequently use by navigating to More > Forms > Manual
- Tap the ⭐ star icon in the top-right
- It will turn yellow to indicate it’s now a favorite
To remove it from favorites, just tap the star again.
📌 Assigned Forms
Forms may also be automatically assigned to users via:
- Shift schedules
- Workflows
- Supervisors
These will appear in the Assigned tab under Forms if “View Manual Forms” is disabled.
📋 View Your Form Submission History
Open the Form Submissions section in the Action Center to:
- See a date-sorted list of forms you’ve submitted
- Tap any form to view full submission details, including attachments
🧪 Copy a Previous Form Submission
If you fill out similar forms every day (like a daily hazard report), you can save time by copying a past submission.
How to Copy:
- Go to the Form Submissions widget
- Tap the three-dot menu beside any form
- Choose Copy
- A new form will open, pre-filled with the previous data
- Make edits and submit
📌 This is great for repetitive workflows where most fields stay the same each day.
