When you click any form in the Master Form Log or a sub-log, Ontraccr opens a full form detail view. This includes multiple tabs that let you view all data captured by the form, along with a complete audit trail, triggered workflows, and related files.


🧭 How to Access the Form Detail View

  1. Go to any form log (Master, Project, Customer, Equipment, etc.)
  2. Click the form row you want to review
  3. This opens the form in a multi-tab viewer interface

📂 Tabs Overview

Here’s a breakdown of each tab available in the form detail view:


1. General Info

Shows high-level metadata about the form:

  • Form number
  • Employee name and ID
  • GPS snapshot (if geolocation is enabled for the form type)
  • Basic summary of the form context

2. Triggered Items

Displays any upstream forms or workflows that triggered this form, along with downstream results.

  • If the form was triggered by another form:
    • The upstream form is linked
    • You can click to open it without leaving the current view
  • If this form triggered other actions (e.g., shift creation), those are shown here:
    • Shifts created: Includes title, time, project, phase, cost code

3. Fields

This is the digital version of the submitted form, showing all completed answers.

  • If your role and the workflow allow it, you'll see an Edit button
  • You can make changes and re-submit if permitted

4. PDF

View the PDF-rendered version of the form.

  • Zoom in/out to read clearly
  • Use the download icon (top-right) to save a local copy

5. Timeline

A complete audit trail of actions performed on this form, including:

  • Submission timestamps
  • Status changes
  • Emails sent (with ability to resend from the timeline)
  • Approvals or cancellations
  • Workflow steps (e.g., “Sent for approval to Admin”)
  • Form edits and version snapshots

6. Attachments

A summary of all files or images uploaded via form fields.

  • Centralizes all file attachments for quick access
  • You can also find attachments under specific form fields, but this tab gathers them all together

🧠 Best Practices

  • Use the Timeline tab when troubleshooting missing emails or skipped workflow actions
  • View snapshots under the Fields tab using “View Snapshots” to audit edits
  • If you're approving a form, make sure to check the General Info and Triggered Items to understand full context
