Sub Form Logs: Projects, Customers, Vendors, Equipment, Board Cards

📘 Sub Form Logs: Projects, Customers, Vendors, Equipment, Board Cards Overview

While the Master Form Log gives a global view of all submitted forms, Ontraccr also offers sub form logs within specific areas of the platform. These are pre-filtered logs that show forms only related to the item you're viewing, such as a specific project, customer, vendor, equipment, or board card.

📂 What Each Sub Log Tab Contains

In Projects:

  • Payables → Invoices and Purchase Orders only
  • Billing → Receivable Invoices only
  • Work Orders → Work order–type forms
  • Changes → Change order–type forms
  • Other Forms → All other form types tied to the project

In Customers/Vendors:

  • Tabs show only forms tied to that customer or vendor
  • Categorized into Payables, Billing, Work Orders, etc., just like in Projects

In Equipment:

  • Forms tied to the specific equipment profile
  • Only visible if a form was tagged with that equipment

In Board Cards:

  • Only forms submitted from that card appear in this tab
  • If a form wasn’t submitted through the card, it won’t show here

Benefits of Sub Form Logs

  • Immediate context — see only relevant forms for a specific project, client, or vendor
  • No manual filtering required
  • Centralized recordkeeping — lets companies skip manually attaching documents to profiles

🧠 Tip: As long as the form includes a “Choose one or more” dropdown for project, customer, vendor, or equipment, Ontraccr auto-saves the form under that profile’s log.
