Overview

In Ontraccr, you can attach forms directly to tasks, allowing assigned users to complete required documentation as part of their task workflow. This is a great way to streamline inspections, submissions, reports, or compliance forms — all without needing separate instructions.


🎯 Why Attach a Form to a Task?

This feature is perfect for:

  • Site or equipment inspection checklists
  • Safety reports, HR forms, or onboarding documents
  • Expense submissions tied to a procurement task
  • Ensuring standardized data collection within your workflow
  • Reducing confusion — the user knows exactly what to do

🧩 How to Assign a Form to a Task

Whether creating a task manually or through automation:

  1. In the Task Setup section, scroll to Form Assignment.
  2. Choose a form from the dropdown list of available Ontraccr forms.
  3. Save and submit the task or workflow.

✅ When the user opens the task, the form will be accessible right from the task interface.


How Users Complete the Assigned Form

  1. Go to the My Tasks section or open the board card directly.
  2. Click on the task.
  3. You’ll see the attached form listed below the task description.
  4. Click the form to fill it out and submit.

🟢 Submitted forms are tied directly to the card and recorded in its activity log.
