Tasks Tab in Board Cards: Manual & Automated Task Management
Overview
The Tasks Tab inside each board card shows all tasks tied to that card ā whether created manually or generated by workflows. It helps teams manage work within the context of the card, and gives assignees and collaborators a centralized view of what's been done and what still needs action.
šÆ Why Use the Tasks Tab?
Use it to:
- Assign follow-up actions to users
- Create structured steps for a process tied to a card
- Track tasks created by status-change automations
- See a full task list, status, due dates, and ownership for each card
š§© How It Works
- Open a board card
- Click the āTasksā tab at the top
- Youāll see all tasks related to that card, with:
- Task title
- Assignee(s)
- Due date
- Priority
- Status (To Do, In Progress, Done)
Tasks can be:
- Manually added right from the Tasks Tab
- Auto-created by workflows (e.g., āCreate Task When Card Enters a Statusā)
