Update 3.6.0

3.6.0 introduces a redesigned Time Card experience and even allows companies to design their own custom Time Cards to capture any information they want in their own unique way! 

Please Note: The mobile app will require an update via the iOS App Store or Google Play Store in order for mobile users to update to 3.6.0

Introducing Time Card ‘Custom Fields’

  • Prior to this update, Time Cards in OnTraccr were designed using a standard template that worked for most companies. However, we’ve now opened up the Time Card template completely so you can add your own custom fields to Time Cards however you see fit. Just like with our form and board card builder, you can add and design as many fields as you want to the Time Card. 
  • To add custom fields to your company Time Card design, simply navigate to the ’Settings -> Time Tracking -> Custom Fields' page. In this page, you can set up Sections and add Fields just like you can throughout the rest of the OnTraccr platform. Simply click ’Save’ to save and launch your custom Time Card design once you’ve finished adding your fields.
  • Once implemented, custom Time Cards will show up any time a user adds a ‘Manual Entry’ or edits their Time Cards on either the web or mobile app.
  • Note: In this version, custom Time Card fields only work with Manual Entry-based time tracking and not real-time time tracking (clock in/out). Real-time time tracking will continue to work the same way as before.

 

Redesigned Time Cards

  • Since Time Cards can now support custom design, we’ve updated the Time Cards themselves to be able to support an unlimited number of Time Card customizations with a brand new look and feel in both the web and mobile apps.
  • Each time card entry is a clickable card within the Time Card and it will open the same configuration slider as before. The ‘Locations’ button has been re-positioned on the right hand side so you can still easily track geofence breaches etc.

 

Budget Phases Now Support Material and Overhead Cost Codes

  • In a Project’s Budget Tracking page, project phases now support material and overhead cost codes to provide a more complete job costing picture for project managers.
