Introducing Repeatable Form Sections
- You can now add repeatable form sections into any Ontraccr form. This feature is designed for form sections which contain identical fields but which may need to repeated depending on certain scenarios. For example, in an inspection form, you can duplicate a form section for each piece of equipment inspected according to a standard set of questions.
- To configure a form section to be repeatable, simply click the Settings icon next to the section you’d like to configure in the form builder. Click the ‘Enable Section Duplication’ checkbox in the section settings to enable this feature.
- When filling in a form, users will see a new duplicate button next to the section title which they can click to duplicate the section quickly. Duplicated sections can also be removed by clicking the Delete icon next to the duplicated section’s title.
Mass Card Upload via Spreadsheet
- You can now create a large set of cards in a board by simply uploading a spreadsheet file! To mass upload a set of cards via a spreadsheet file, when adding a card into any status, you will see a new ‘Upload’ option.
- After uploading a spreadsheet, you will then be asked to map the spreadsheet file’s columns to the various fields within the card. Once finished, all of the cards will be added to the board immediately.
Disable ’Tap to Add from Team’ Option in Time Entry Table
- For companies that want to disable the ’Tap to Add From Team’ option within a form’s time entry table, we’ve added a new ‘Hide Add from Team Button’ checkbox to the Time Entry table field configurator.
Sort Cards By Custom Date Fields
- You can now sort your board cards by any custom date fields added within the cards. To sort your cards by any custom date fields, simply click the Sort button on your board, select from one of the ‘Date/Time Field’ options available in the card and select the specific custom date field you’d like to sort the board by.
Easier Way To Update Task Status
- We’ve made it easier to update task statuses in the Dashboard task widget. You can now just click directly into the status field to update the status of the task.
Other Fixes & Improvements
- We’ve rearchitected our backend to update the way Ontraccr handles time entries across different timezones. The changes will prevent inconsistencies experienced by users who are viewing time entries in different time zones.
- We’ve fixed an issue where cost codes weren’t sorting by code number/name correctly in certain parts of the web app.
