⚙️ Account Settings & Support in the Mobile App: Version, Help, Cache, and Feedback

🧭 Introduction

The Account Settings and Support tools in the Ontraccr mobile app provide essential utilities for managing your session, resolving technical issues, and reaching out for help — all without needing the web.

This guide walks through the available settings, support tools, and recommended troubleshooting steps.

📍 Where to Access Settings & Support

  1. Tap “More” in the bottom nav bar
  2. Scroll to the very bottom

You’ll land on a screen with access to app version info, logout, password reset, support contact, and feedback.

🔢 Check App Version

  • The version number is displayed near the top of the screen
  • Always share this number when reporting bugs or seeking support

✅ Use this to ensure you're running the latest version — updates often include fixes or new features.

🔐 Change Password

  • Tap “Change Password”
  • Enter your current password, then a new password, and confirm

🔒 Password must meet your company’s security criteria.

This is helpful for rotating credentials or responding to a security policy change.

🧼 Clear Image Cache

If your app seems to load slowly or file previews won’t display:

  • Tap “Clear Image Cache”
  • This deletes stored image previews and reloads fresh content next time

📌 Use this for troubleshooting visual issues or storage space concerns

📞 Contact Support

Need to talk to the Ontraccr team?

  • Tap “Support”
  • This opens a communication method:
    • A web-based portal where you can report a bug, suggest a new feature, seek technical support, or ask other questions

Be sure to include:

  • Issue description
  • Screenshots if possible
  • Your app version

💬 Leave Feedback

Want to request a feature or report an idea?

  • Tap “Feedback”
  • Submit a brief message to the product team
  • All feedback is logged and reviewed for future updates

🚪 Log Out

To end your session:

  • Tap “Log Out” at the bottom of the Settings screen
  • Use this when:
    • Switching accounts
    • Troubleshooting session issues
    • Leaving a shared device

Outcome

From the Account Settings area, users can:

  • Verify app version and troubleshoot issues
  • Secure their account with password updates
  • Clear visual clutter with the image cache tool
  • Reach out to support or share improvement ideas
  • Log out safely on shared devices
