🧭 Customer Dashboard Tabs – Overview and Navigation
 

Each customer profile in Ontraccr comes with its own dedicated dashboard. This dashboard includes a series of tabs that centralize all related activity, records, and interactions tied to that customer.

This article walks through every tab available, what it displays, and how to use it effectively.


📍 How to Access the Customer Dashboard

  1. Go to Contacts > Customers
  2. Click on a customer’s name card (not the Edit icon)
  3. The customer dashboard will open

🧾 Tabs Overview

Below are the tabs available on each customer profile, along with their specific function:


1. General Info

  • Displays all key fields entered during customer creation:
    • Name, Division, Labels, Buckets
    • Phone numbers, Emails
    • Website, Info
    • Office & Billing Address
  • View-only format (edit via the Edit slider)

2. All Projects

  • Shows a list of all projects linked to this customer
  • Features:
    • Search bar for project names
    • Add New Project: opens the project creation slider
    • Add Existing Project: link previously created projects to this customer
    • Clicking a project opens its dashboard directly

3. Notes

  • Used for internal note tracking
  • Notes are:
    • Permanent (cannot be edited or deleted)
    • Visible to other internal users
  • Example: “Client is late on invoices—monitor carefully.”

4. Payables

  • Lists all Purchase Orders (POs) linked to this customer
  • Features:
    • Search, filter by user or form
    • Sort by PO value, cost to date, committed cost
    • Click to view full PO and attached files
    • Export all POs to XLSX/CSV

5. Billing

  • Form log of all invoice-type forms tied to this customer
  • Displays:
    • Billing Rate and Material Discount at the top
    • Search bar and export button
    • Columns: User, Form Number, Projects, Card, Created On
    • Click any invoice to view full details
    • Export to XLSX/CSV

6. Work Orders

  • Lists all work order forms tagged to the customer
  • Same features as Payables/Billing:
    • Search, filter, sort
    • Export
    • Click to view work order detail

7. Other Forms

  • Captures all other forms not in the categories above
  • Includes:
    • Any custom or general-purpose forms tied via customer dropdown
    • Same search/export/sort features

8. Cards

  • Displays all Board Cards that are linked to this customer
  • Features:
    • Clicking a card opens it in the appropriate board
    • Functions as a shortcut to active work or form flows
  • Linking is done via the linking feature in board cards

9. Address Book

  • Shows all contacts tied to this customer
  • Features:
    • Add new contact (Name required; Role, Phone, Email optional)
    • Click to edit contacts
    • Search contacts
  • All fields are usable as attributes in forms for auto-population

10. Client Portal

Split into two sub-tabs:

a) Accounts

  • Manage Client Portal logins:
    • Add new accounts (email + password)
    • Edit or reset passwords
    • Preview the portal as the client would see it

b) Communication

  • View and reply to messages from the client
  • Unread messages show a red badge indicator
  • Messages are also emailed to the client upon response
