Overview
The Forms Tab in each board card logs all forms that were submitted directly from that card. It gives users an easy way to review completed forms, download PDFs, view attachments, and audit submission history — all in one place.
🎯 Why Use the Forms Tab?
Use it to:
- Track every form submitted from the card
- View form submission history in one place
- Open or download submitted forms
- Access PDF exports and file attachments
- Maintain a transparent, auditable log of form activity
🧩 How It Works
- Open a board card
- Click the “Forms” tab
- You’ll see a list of submitted forms, showing:
- Form Name
- Submission Date
- Submitted By
- PDF link
- Attachment preview
- Submission timeline (when applicable)
The tab only shows forms that were submitted from that card, not forms submitted from elsewhere.
📂 Viewing a Submitted Form
Click any form in the list to:
- Open the full submission
- Download it as a PDF
- See who submitted it and when
- Review any files uploaded with it
- Access the form’s own timeline view for detailed tracking
✅ Example Use Case
- A field tech submits a Safety Inspection Form from the “Lot 17 Excavation” card
- The form appears in the Forms Tab with:
- Timestamp
- Submitter’s name
- PDF export
- Attached site photos
- A safety officer reviews the form from the same tab later that day
🧠 Tips & Edge Cases
- Only forms submitted from the card using the form icon appear here
- Attachments from these forms are also visible in the Attachments Tab
- Users must have permission to submit the form in order to see or use the form icon
- Use filters or search to narrow by form name, submitter, or date
