📘 Master Form Log in Ontraccr Overview
The Master Form Log is the centralized, company-wide audit trail for all forms submitted across Ontraccr. This log tracks every form submitted, approved, canceled, or rejected—regardless of project, board, or customer—and offers detailed filtering, exporting, and audit capabilities.
🔐 Access Requirements
To view the Master Form Log, users must have a specific permission enabled:
- Permission Name:

- Where to Enable:
- Go to
Settings
→Roles & Permissions
- Under the relevant role, ensure
View log in forms
is checked
- Go to
Without this permission, users will not see the Master Form Log.
🧭 How to Access the Master Form Log
- Navigate to Documents → Forms
- In the left-hand menu, select Log
- If you have the required permissions, this opens the Master Form Log view
🗂️ What the Master Form Log Contains
The Master Form Log provides a full audit history of all submitted forms, including:
- ✅ Approved Forms
- ❌ Canceled Forms
- ⛔ Rejected Forms
- Assigned Forms
By default, the view is organized by pay period, but it can be filtered in many other ways (see next article for filter details).
🧾 Columns Displayed in the Log
These are the default columns visible in the Master Form Log:

Form | The name of the form template |
Number | The auto-generated Ontraccr form number (if enabled in the template setup) |
Client/Customer | Customer associated with the form |
All Projects | Project tagged in the form |
Card | Board card from which the form was submitted |
Created On | Timestamp of when the form was created (sortable) |
Last Updated | Timestamp of last update (sortable) |
Status | Current status of the form (standard or custom) |
📝 Notes & Best Practices
- If you don’t see a form you’re expecting, check your date filters first—it may be outside the current view’s range.
- The Master Form Log is not filtered by default—it includes all forms across your organization unless you apply filters manually.
