Advanced Search Overview
Advanced Search Overview
📌 Summary
The Advanced Search feature in Ontraccr is a paid add-on that allows users to build custom search queries across Forms and Boards. It is designed for users who need to filter, locate, and extract data based on specific criteria, without manually scanning through each record.
🔐 Access Requirements
Advanced Search is not included by default in all accounts.
- If you do not see the Advanced Search option, contact:
- Your Ontraccr Sales Representative, or
- The Support Team to request access.
🔒 Feature is a premium add-on.
📍 What It Does
Advanced Search lets you run detailed queries across two core Ontraccr data sources:
- Forms: All project-specific and global forms created in your account.
- Boards: All cards across active boards using various card templates.
These queries can:
- Be saved for future reuse
- Include multiple conditions (e.g. project = X, injury = yes)
- Filter by date ranges, status, user, and more
- Export results (only for forms)
🧭 Where to Find It
- Navigate to the top right corner of the screen.
- Click the magnifying glass icon (Advanced Search).
- You’ll be taken to the Advanced Search dashboard.
From here, choose to search either:
- Forms (via the Forms tab)
- Boards (via the Boards tab)
🔍 Example Use Cases
- Search for FLHA forms where an injury was reported.
- Filter Project Tracker cards by status, customer, or date.
- Create reusable reports for safety audits, RFI tracking, or service dispatch analysis.
🔧 Notes
- You can filter with AND/OR logic (all vs any filters).
- Each query can include standard fields (e.g., project, status) and custom fields from your forms or card templates.
- Export is only available for form results.
