🔎 Searching Cards in Ontraccr: Within and Across Boards

Overview

Ontraccr’s Search feature makes it easy to quickly find specific cards — whether you’re looking for a project, a client request, or a candidate application. You can search within the current board or across all boards, and jump straight to the matching card.

🎯 Why Use Search?

Use search when you need to:

  • Find a card by name, address, or keyword
  • Jump to a specific client, site, or job
  • Avoid scrolling through large boards
  • Search across multiple departments or workflows in one go

🧩 How to Use the Search Feature

  1. Open any board in Ontraccr.
  2. Locate the search bar just under the board title.
  3. Type in a keyword, name, address, or number.
  4. Ontraccr will return a list of matching cards:
    • First from the current board
    • Then from other boards you have access to

✅ Click any result to jump directly to that card. It will be highlighted in bold so you can locate it quickly.

🔁 Cross-Board Search

  • Search results will include matches from other boards even if you're currently on a different one.
  • When you click a result from another board, Ontraccr will auto-switch to that board and scroll to the selected card.

  • If you’re not seeing what you expect, try searching by linked field values or full names
