🛠️ How to Configure Action Center Per Role

  1. In the Action Center customization screen, choose a user role (e.g., Site Foreman, Project Manager).
  2. Toggle each item on or off depending on what that role should see.
  3. Changes apply immediately for users in that role.

🧪 Use Case Example

For a Field Technician:

  • Enable: Clock, Manual Forms, Schedule, Tasks
  • Disable: Board Cards, Form Submissions, Equipment (if not applicable)

For an Admin or PM:

  • Enable: Forms Viewed, Form Submissions, Board Cards, Time Cards

Tips and Edge Cases

  • Hide Board Cards acts as an override—useful for roles where task boards are irrelevant.
  • Keep Role-Based Needs in Mind: Think about what each role actually does on-site and customize accordingly.
  • Test Mobile Experience: After configuring, log in with a test account for that role to preview the Action Center changes.
