Overview

Timeline View in Ontraccr allows you to visualize your board cards as scheduled items across a timeline. This is perfect for project planning, scheduling field work, tracking service windows, and managing start/end dates — all in a clear, calendar-style layout.


🎯 Why Use Timeline View?

Timeline View helps you:

  • Visualize when work is scheduled
  • Spot overlaps or delays between cards
  • Monitor project progress across multiple timelines
  • Manage resource availability, project stages, and task scheduling

🧩 How to Access Timeline View

  1. Open your board.
  2. Click the View dropdown (defaults to “Card View”).
  3. Select Timeline View.

✅ You’ll now see all cards with dates as bars spanning across the timeline.


🕒 Prerequisites for Timeline View

To display a card in Timeline View, it must have:

  • Start Date
  • End Date

How to add dates:

  1. Open a card and click Edit.
  2. Check the box for “Add Dates”.
  3. Enter the Start Date and End Date.
  4. Click Save and Submit.

Only cards with dates will show in the timeline.
