The Advanced File Viewer in Ontraccr offers a powerful set of markup tools that go far beyond basic annotations. You can highlight, underline, draw, insert text, and style every element to match your review needs — ideal for construction drawings, estimates, and other complex files.

🛠 Available Markup Tools

All tools are accessible from Annotate Mode in the Advanced Viewer.

✏️ Freehand Draw

• Sketch directly on the page (like a pencil)
• Great for arrows, shapes, or notes

🎨 Freehand Highlight

• Acts like a paintbrush highlighter
• Smart detection straightens your lines automatically

🖍 Highlight

Click-and-drag to highlight printed text

Add links to highlight areas if needed

Example: Highlight “Model 12B” and link to the spec sheet

📐 Rectangle

• Draw customizable boxes over content
• Choose:
  • Border type (solid, dashed)
  • Border color and thickness
  • Fill color and opacity

🔤 Free Text

• Add standalone text anywhere on the file
• Customize:
  • Font type and size
  • Bold, italic, underline, strikethrough
  • Alignment (left, center, right, justified)
  • Positioning (top, middle, bottom)
  • Font color and scaling

🔠 Text-Based Tools

These tools help call out or modify existing text in the document:

• Underline – straight underline under selected text
• Squiggly Underline – softer, wavy emphasis
• Strikethrough – cross out specific words
• Insert Text – place new text where none existed

💡 Clicking underlined or highlighted text also gives you styling and comment options.

🧽 Editing & Control Tools

• Undo / Redo – step forward or backward through your edits
• Eraser – remove freehand or shape-based annotations

📌 Save your markup when finished — this creates a new version of the document without losing the original.
