🖼 Basic File Viewer: Features & Usage

The Basic File Viewer in Ontraccr allows you to open, view, and annotate standard files like PDFs and images. It’s designed for quick document access and light markups — perfect for forms, invoices, and general documentation.

📄 Supported File Types

The Basic Viewer works best with:

  • PDFs
  • Image files (e.g. JPEG, PNG)

🔍 Viewing Tools

When you open a file in the Basic Viewer, you’ll see the following options:

  • 🔄 Rotate Left / Rotate Right – rotate the document clockwise or counterclockwise
  • 🔍 Zoom In / Zoom Out – control how closely you're viewing the content
  • ⬆⬇ Page Navigation – scroll between pages using arrows on the left side
  • ⬅➡ File Navigation – move between files in the current folder by clicking left or right

💡 Tip: These tools are ideal for reviewing multi-page documents or cycling through a batch of related files.

✏️ Annotation Tools

Click the Annotate button on the right to enable drawing and text tools.

You can:

  • Draw freehand on the document
  • Highlight text or areas
  • Add text boxes or freehand text

Once your changes are complete, click Save.

✔ This automatically creates a new version of the file — your original remains unchanged.

⬇ Downloading Files

At any time, you can click the Download button (top-right corner) to save a local copy of the file you’re viewing.

🗂 Version Access

If a file has multiple versions:

  • Click the More icon (three vertical dots)
