# How the Sage 100 Contractor integration works

Ontraccr can integrate directly with Sage 100 Contractor to:

-   Sync **profiles** from Sage 100 Contractor into Ontraccr
-   Sync **timesheets** from Ontraccr into Sage 100 Contractor

The integration happens through a cloud-enabled connector which must be locally installed on the Sage 100 Contractor server, as shown below.

**In order to** [**activate the Sage 100 Contractor integration**](https://help.ontraccr.com/en/article/activating-and-managing-the-sage-100-contractor-integration)**, you will require scheduled assistance from the Ontraccr team and there is also a small integration fee with every activation.** 

When it comes to profile syncing, Ontraccr can sync the following data sets with Sage 100 Contractor unidirectionally:

As shown by the flow of data between the two applications above, profiles must be created in Sage 100 Contractor first in order for them to sync into Ontraccr automatically. **Profiles created in Ontraccr will not sync into Sage 100 Contractor.**

One the integration is activated and profiles have been synced, Ontraccr can then sync time cards into Sage 100 Contractor (but not the other way around):
