## 🧩 Form Type and Category

### Why It Matters

The **form type** you select affects:

- How forms are automatically saved
- How they appear in the system
- Whether they support **auto-numbering**

### Options

- Choose from existing categories like:
    - Purchase Order (PO)
    - Work Order
    - Invoice
    - Change Order
    - Quote
    - RFI
    - Safety
    - Sub-Contract
- Or, create your own **custom type** (explained in the article titled **Form Types and Custom Numbering**)

✅ Use PO or Invoice types if you want forms to be recognized specifically as such in Ontraccr.
